MONTE is a dance and theatre show closely linked to music, created and performed by Alba 
Fernández Cotelo.
It is an approach to the points in common that we have between Galicia and Cuba, putting the emphasis, on the one hand, on dance and music, and on the other hand, on nature, on the ‘castizo’ and ‘natural’ way of seeing life. All this from the hybrid vision of a woman in search of the ‘other part’ of herself. That is, we will create the fiction between two worlds, between two 
cultures.
She is a woman who may well have lived through emigration back and forth. She is a strong and wise woman, who knows all the secrets of the MOUNTAIN and came from the sea.
She knows all the herbs, all the legends and the brebaxes, and maintains a strong connection with the land, with the drums, with the voice and with the clave.
